Relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff, good food, great location.
We have stayed twice before and have always been very pleased with our rooms. This time we were in the main house and felt the room was not up to the usual standard. We could hear the television from the room below, the carpet was quite old and stained in places and the side of the bath was shabby and in need of repair.

Greatly enjoyed our impeccably clean and huge rooms in this place.
It was a stylish hotel in a lovely area, close enough to Cathedral and City centre and restaurant and bistro and a charming old market town. The staff were outstandingly accommodating and accommodating and always had a smile. Stayed here for one night and had an EXCELLENT time, we can recommend this venue.

This boutique hotel offers plenty of neat and fashionable rooms. The venue has an incredible location, an easy walk to a cathedral church. It's based in lovely area, found everything we wished to see within walking distance.

Friendly helpful staff. Character & ambience of the hotel. Cleanliness and attention to detail.
Breakfast buffet needs improvement, slow to replenish stocks. More food, less porcelain would be appreciated.

Super, traditional hotel... has timelessness about it.. whilst modern, warm and comfortable, has the charm of an establishment in an Agatha Christie novel (thankfully without the drama!). Nice little touches - like a small carafe of sherry with glasses in our room for our afternoon aperitif, real milk in a jug in our fridge... Little touches that make such a difference. We really loved it, and will definitely return. Staff are helpful and friendly... Cooked breakfast was excellent.

We had a sensational evening at Hereford Cathedral enjoying opera arias, a perfect after a cozy stay with our dog. The location is ideal, right near the river and town.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly dining options nearby.

Fresh milk in the room fridge - thank you so much!! Pleasant and helpful staff. Location and nearness to the Cathedral as we are not very mobile. Fish at breakfast i.e. haddock was cooked to perfection.
Had to use the lift and there was often a bit of a mess in that area on the ground floor. Understandable but detracting from what was otherwise pretty overall good.

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, the room in the main house was lovely and very clean, with the added convenience of off-site car parking and a tv for entertainment.
No complaints whatsoever.

Location is great. The hotel is comfortable and clean. Modern rooms. Free parking. Excellent gardens.
Very weak wifi, almost non-existent. The room was on the 2nd floor in a separate building, may not suit some people with no lift and lots of stairs to climb. I come to Hereford for business regularly and have stayed in most of its B&Bs and hotels. This one is good but a bit too expensive. A few B&Bs around are similarly good with more variable and better breakfast and are cheaper. Again the restaurant is good but expensive, there are a few excellent restaurants in the city just walking distance from the hotel. Location however, is the best, just next to the cathedral and shopping area.
